Paradigm at Stevens in Yoakum, TX is seeking a compassionate RN to provide direct nursing care and oversee care plans in a long-term care setting.

You will develop and direct patient care plans, ensure compliance with policies, and supervise nursing staff. CPR and strong communication skills are essential; Texas RN license and an ADN are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years’ Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• 6 months rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy: Outlook and Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act and facility policies.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the plan of care.
• Follow facility policies governing nursing service and privacy.
• Provide prompt emergency support measures, including CPR.
• Develop daily work and unit assignments with supervision staff as needed.
• Ensure nursing staff perform assignments to nursing standards.
