Job summary

Encore Parkside in Delaware is seeking a licensed RN for full-time or part-time shift coverage to provide high-quality resident care in a collaborative team setting. You will follow physician orders, document meticulously, administer medications, and participate in care planning with an emphasis on safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Delaware.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per physician orders and care plans.
• Assess residents’ physical, psychosocial, and functional status and document appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to physician and nursing leadership.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on assigned unit or shift.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in care planning, shift reports, and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed.
• Accurately complete medical records, MARs, TARs, and incident reports.
• Educate residents and families regarding care, treatments, and health conditions.
• Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and block schedule commitments as assigned.
