Encore Parkside in Newark, DE, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. You will provide direct nursing care, assess residents, administer medications, and supervise LPNs/CNAs on your unit with a focus on quality care and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per physician orders and care plans.
• Assess residents’ status and document findings.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents and report changes to physicians and leadership.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs on the unit or shift.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in care planning, shift reports, and inter-disciplinary meetings.
• Respond to emergencies with first aid or CPR as needed.
• Complete medical records, MARs, TARs, and incident reports accurately.
• Educate residents and families about care and health conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Assess residents’ physical, psychosocial, and functional status and document appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report to physician and nursing leadership.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on assigned unit or shift.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in care planning, shift reports, and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed.
• Accurately complete medical records, MARs, TARs, and incident reports.
• Educate residents and families regarding care, treatments, and health conditions.
• Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and block schedule commitments as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Delaware
