Job summary

WesleyLife Edgewater in West Des Moines, IA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for overnight, full-time care. You will provide direct nursing care, perform wound care and IV therapy, and help develop individualized care plans. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, anddevelopingindividualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuringaccuratedocumentation and monitoringforside effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate andoptimizeresident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols tomaintaina safe environment for residents.
• Overnight (6:00p-6:00a) FT

Qualifications:

• State of Iowa LPN license
• PreviousLTC experience is preferred but notrequired
