Job summary

WesleyLife in Des Moines, IA is seeking compassionate nurses to provide direct resident care within our aging services team. You will perform wound care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.

Job Duties

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management. Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and developing individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa RN or LPN license
• Previous LTC experience is preferred but not required

Open Shifts Available

• Night Shift, 6:00p-6:30a Full Time or Part Time
• Day Shift, 6:00a-6:30p Full Time or Part Time
• PRN
