Job summary

Prestige Healthcare Management's Pine Acres facility in Iowa is hiring Nurses (RN or LPN) for full-time day and night shifts. You will provide compassionate, resident-centered care, implement care plans, and participate in rounds to monitor health status.

You will administer medications, document changes, supervise aides, and coordinate with physicians. A valid Iowa RN or LVN license and CPR certification are required; retention bonus available and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
• Active LVN or RN license in good standing in Iowa.
• Active and current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

As a Nurse (RN or LPN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and promoting the well‑being of each resident based on their individual care plans and assessments. This position is ideal for experienced, passionate nurses who want to make a meaningful difference in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Nurse Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions during rounds.

• Implement and follow care plans as directed.

• Administer prescribed medications accurately.

• Participate in physician rounds and chart visits.

• Perform narcotic reconciliation between shifts.

• Identify significant changes in resident health and take appropriate action.

• Oversee and support nursing aides during your shift.

• Complete incident and accident reports as per policy.

• Conduct resident discharges in accordance with procedures.

• Complete nursing assessments before contacting physicians.

• Communicate clearly with residents and their families regarding health updates.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

• Qualifications:

  Licensure:

  • Active LVN or RN license in good standing in the state of Iowa

• Active and current CPR certification
