We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine individual care needs.
Administer medications and treatments accurately, including injections, IV infusions, catheterizations, and wound suturing, following established protocols.
Manage complex clinical procedures such as ventilator management, dialysis coordination, cardiac catheterization support, and trauma response in Level I and Level II trauma center environments.
Document all patient interactions meticulously within electronic health record (EHR) systems like PCC, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists in infectious disease care, behavioral health professionals, and case managers to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Provide patient education on medication administration, pain management strategies, nutrition plans, and discharge instructions to promote optimal recovery outcomes.
Participate in emergency response procedures including critical care response, neonatal resuscitation procedures (NRP), and trauma medicine protocols to ensure rapid intervention when needed.
Extensive experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer’s care needs.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as PCC for accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology principles, aseptic techniques, and infection control practices.
Skilled in performing invasive procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, tube feeding management, ostomy care, and laboratory specimen collection/processing.
Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to triage effectively during urgent or emergent situations; experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital environments highly valued.
