Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Roseburg, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse to develop and oversee the plan of care for residents, ensuring high-quality, person-centered outcomes.

The RN will implement care, supervise delivery of nursing services in the unit, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. Licensing is required, with 6–12 months SNF/LTC experience preferred and a commitment to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state.
• 6-12 months of SNF/LTC experience preferred.
• Ability to assess resident needs and develop individual care plans.
• Commitment to following state and federal regulations.

Pay Range:$ 50.00/HR - $61.50/HR (Based on licensed experience)

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the development, implementation, and modification of the comprehensive plan of care for facility residents and providing independent supervision and delivery of care to residents in the nursing unit. Qualifications:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in practicing state.
• 6-12 months of experience in the skilled nursing setting SNF/LTC (highly preferred)
• Ability to assess resident needs
• Skilled in developing individual care plans for patients
• A passion for making a difference in the lives of others
• Ability to follow state and Federal rules and regulations which govern the practices within the facility.

New nurses can participate in a 3-month Long Term Care New Nurse Residency, involving the Geri-Res residency curriculum and a structured onsite mentorship.

Additional program benefits include:

• For a limited time, Nurse Residents are eligible to apply for a Long-Term Care New Nurse Incentive payment following completion of the residency and three additional months of employment. (The grant that funds this incentive expires at the end of 2026; nurses must be enrolled by June 30, 2026 to be eligible.)
