New nurses can participate in a 3-month Long Term Care New Nurse Residency with structured onsite mentorship and OHCA-supported professional development.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the practicing state.
• Ability to assess resident needs.
• Skilled in developing individual care plans for patients.
• Supervision of CNAs and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
• A passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
• Ability to follow state and Federal rules and regulations which govern the practices within the facility.
