Avenues Recovery Center in North Chesterfield, VA is seeking a registered nurse for our detox and residential treatment facility. This 8-hour day shift role (7am-3pm or 1pm-9pm) supports medical intake, nursing duties, and coordinated care with clinical teams.

Ideal candidates hold an active in-state or compact RN license, and demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care in a recovery-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical intake process to ensure seamless transition into treatment
• Perform nursing duties: vitals, drug screens, scheduling and labs
• Coordinate pharmacy, dispense medications, maintain med logs
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams for care coordination
• Ensure complete, timely, and accurate medical documentation

Now Hiring an RN for our newest Detox and Residential treatment facility, in North Chesterfield, VA!

This is an 8 hour day shift position: 7am-3pm or 1pm-9pm.

What You'll Do

• Manage complete medical intake process to ensure a seamless transition into treatment
• Complete all nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, scheduling appointments and lab work etc.)
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep accurate med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams for total coordination of care
• Ensure complete, timely and accurate medical documentation for each client

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school
• Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented, withy ability to multitask and work efficiently
• Compassionate and dignified character which models recovery principles
