Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Virginia is hiring overnight nurses for our new Detox and Residential facility in North Chesterfield, VA. The role focuses on delivering quality medical care during admission, treatment and discharge, and coordinating pharmacy and medication needs.

We require at least a year of diploma training post-high school, current RN or LPN license, and strong communication. Our team values compassionate care, meticulous documentation, and teamwork across medical and clinical

• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
