Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in North Chesterfield, VA is seeking an RN for our detox and residential treatment facility. This 8-hour day shift offers 7am-3pm or 1pm-9pm and involves medical intake, nursing duties, and care coordination.

You must have a post-high school nursing diploma and Virginia licensure (or compact with multistate privileges); strong communication and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Current licensure to practice in Virginia, or compact licensure with multi-state privileges.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete medical intake process for seamless transition into treatment.
• Complete all nursing shift duties: vitals, drug screens, scheduling, and labs.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and maintain med logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams for total coordination of care.
• Ensure complete, timely and accurate medical documentation for each client.

Now Hiring an RN for our newest Detox and Residential treatment facility, in North Chesterfield, VA!

This is an 8 hour day shift position: 7am-3pm or 1pm-9pm.

What You'll Do

• Manage complete medical intake process to ensure a seamless transition into treatment
