Job summary

Monarch Communities / Brandywine Senior Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to perform resident assessments, provide direct nursing care, and supervise LPN staff under the Director of Health and Wellness. This full-time opportunity also offers part-time or per diem shifts across all schedules.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, 2+ years in care settings, and familiarity with dementia care. Competitive hourly pay ($39–$41) and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license.
• At least 2 years’ experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, the Registered Nurse / RN conducts resident assessments and reassessments,provides direct nursing care to the residents, and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the LPN care staff.

Schedule: Full-Time;Part-Time or Per Diem (All Shifts Available)

Salary Range: $39.00 - $41.00 Hourly

• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
