Job summary

Everwell is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our behavioral health treatment team. The RN provides direct patient care, supervises nursing staff, supports crisis intervention, and plays a key role in patient treatment and recovery.

The ideal candidate will have Florida RN licensure with CPR and CPI certifications, plus behavioral health experience. The position emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license is required.
• CPR and CPI certifications required.
• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and crisis intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care for behavioral health patients.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies.
• Supervise LPNs, Mental Health Technicians, and support staff.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Educate patients regarding medications, wellness, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and medical records.
• Support patient safety, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient assessments.
