Job summary

Progressive Quality Care Inc. seeks compassionate Charge Nurses (RNs) for The Avenue at Brooklyn, a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility with all-private suites.

You will deliver individualized care, supervise aides, and participate in assessments to promote comfort, dignity, and healing. The role requires an active RN license in the state, CPR certification, and prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• RN license or nursing degree required.
• CPR certification (AHA, Red Cross, or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care based on individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document resident conditions and responses.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Supervise nursing assistants and collaborate with care teams.
• Participate in care planning and assessments.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
