Job summary

JGS – Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 3:00PM–11:00PM shift with rotating weekends and holidays. You will provide direct resident care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support daily living activities in a compassionate, team-based environment.

Eligible candidates hold MA RN licensure, knowledge of long-term care regulations, and CPR/BLS certification, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered MA RN licensure.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and patient safety.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Assist residents with ADLs and mobility while promoting dignity.
• Monitor and document clinical status and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to update care plans.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

$39.00 - $45.00/hour, based on experience

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Provide direct resident care including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing prescribed treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility support, and toileting while promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor and document residents' clinical status, including changes in condition, wound care progress, intake/output, and responses to treatments, reporting significant changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to implement and update individualized care plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety regulations, and facility policies while maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications for Success:

• Active, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
