Job summary

A premier senior living community in Lititz, PA is seeking an organized and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for its Skilled Nursing‑Rehab Unit. The RN will work a full-time schedule, including on-call weekends and every-other holiday rotation. Moravian Manor Communities, located in the beautiful town of Lititz, PA, is a premier not-for-profit senior living community that has been serving older adults for 50 years. We are currently seeking an organized and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work on our Skilled Nursing‑Rehab Unit. The RN will work a full‑time schedule of Monday‑thru‑Thursday, 6:45 am‑3:15 pm, with one day per week 6:45 am‑7:00 pm. This schedule will require an every‑other holiday rotation (12‑hour shift) and an on‑call weekend rotation every 7‑8 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Monitors/assesses physical/emotional status of residents
• Makes rounds with physicians as necessary
• Documents response to medications and behaviors associated with psychotropic drug use
• Documents pertinent information, nursing actions and outcomes in the medical charts, and prepares reports and communicates necessary information
• Administers medications to all residents on assigned unit, recording them as they are given, according to the established procedures
• Takes charge of a unit as assigned and monitors resident care delivery

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing (RN) and be currently licensed by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing
• Must be CPR Certified
• Long‑term care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to use computers and software as applies to health care setting
