Job summary

The Blossoms at White Hall is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse to lead resident care in our long-term care setting. This role offers flexible pay options, weekend differential opportunities, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus to attract qualified candidates.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse in good standing, Arkansas licensure (compact acceptable), and a minimum of 2 years in long-term care. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating care and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with an Arkansas license or a valid compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a long-term care setting.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional and social needs.
• Prepares and administers medications as charted and required.
• Administers treatments and follows physicians’ orders.
• Consults with physicians regarding resident care.
• Communicates with the director of nursing and staff to coordinate care.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties:

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents

• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians

Job Requirements

• Long term care experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in Arkansas (or hold a compact license)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
