Baxter Health in Arkansas is seeking a Float Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Full Time team. The role offers a sign-on bonus and exposure to diverse cases in a supportive hospital setting.

This RN position requires a BSN (preferred) and an active RN license in Arkansas or a compact state. BLS is required; ACLS, PALS within the first year, and TNCC/chemo certs are preferred within the first year. Experience is beneficial but residency for new grads is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current AR RN license in good standing or Compact State.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS within first year; TNCC and chemotherapy certification preferred within first year.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred; residency program for inexperienced applicants.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the nursing unit with leadership within the nursing team.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care.
• Collaborate with health care team to promote evidence-based care and healing culture.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and providing leadership within the nursing team.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through the model of Shared Governance.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Licensure: Current AR or Compact State RN license in good standing.

Experience: Minimum of one year experience is preferred. Applicants with no experience will be required to successfully complete a residency program.

Certification: BLS required. ACLS, PALS, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) training required within the first year of employment. TNCC and Chemotherapy Administration Certification (ONS) preferred within the first year of employment.
