Job summary

Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lakeland, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support the health and well-being of our residents.

We offer a full-time schedule (all shifts), salary up to $40/hour based on experience, and benefits including PTO, medical and dental coverage, and team-oriented support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in Florida (active).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and ensure residents receive care per care plans and state regulations.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments according to staff qualifications and resident needs.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and ongoing education to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Perform additional duties as required to support resident care and facility operations.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
