Job summary

Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team in Live Oak, FL. This role focuses on resident-centered care within a supportive long-term care environment.

The RN will supervise nursing staff, coordinate assignments, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social services to implement comprehensive care plans. Florida RN license and CPR certification are required, with at least 2 years in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active Florida RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care in accordance with individualized care plans and state regulations.
• Coordinate and assign nursing duties based on staff competencies and resident needs.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff, including onboarding and ongoing education.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team (physicians, therapists, social services, etc.) to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and changes in resident condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations.
