Job summary

Aston Group in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise nursing staff and oversee daily activities during assigned shifts. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will ensure care aligns with standards and regulations, provide reports, and collaborate with other services to support continuity of care.

This full-time role requires Florida RN license, IV certification, and experience in geriatrics or subacute care; hospital experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Peripheral IV certification required.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year of management experience preferred.
• One year of geriatrics or subacute care experience.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns.
• Identify problems or issues in resident care and implement corrective action.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
