Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center in Duluth, MN is hiring full-time and part-time Registered Nurses for AM/PM shifts with a $6,000 sign-on bonus. Starting wage $33.00–$36.00 per hour, plus $2.00 shift differential for PM and NOC shifts.

We provide training and scheduling support to fit your commitments. Responsibilities include direct patient care, supervising CNAs, medication administration, wound care, and adherence to nursing policies.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license to practice as an RN.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse people and foster a team environment.
• Ability to interact with staff, patients, families, and regulatory agents.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per state, federal, and facility guidelines.
• Supervise CNAs.
• Administer medications.
• Provide wound and treatment care.
• Deliver general nursing care per facility policy and procedures.
• Address issues in the patient care plan for review by a nurse.
• Assess and address resident pain as ordered by doctors.

Shifts: AM, PM, NOC available

The Registered Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
• Supervising CNAs
• Medication administration
• Wound and treatment care
• Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance with the facility’s nursing policy and procedure
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for Nurse review
• Assess and address resident pain as necessary and consistent with the doctors’ orders

Qualifications & Skills of Registered Nurse

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
• CPR Certified
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must work every other weekend
