Job summary

WesleyLife's Edgewater Health Center in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct nursing care, perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and develop individualized care plans with accurate documentation.

You will collaborate with physicians, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate resident care, support admissions, and ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory standards in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN license required.
• LTC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and comprehensive assessments with individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments with accurate documentation and monitor for side effects.

As a Registered Nurse, You Will

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management. Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and developing individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Conduct admissions into Edgewater's Health Center.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.

Open Shifts Available

• Overnight (6:00p-6:00a) FT
• Day (6:00a-6:00p) FT

Qualifications

• State of Iowa RN license
• Previous LTC experience is preferred but not required
