Job summary

WesleyLife Edgewater in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care for residents. You will conduct comprehensive health assessments, administer medications, and contribute to individualized care plans.

The role requires Iowa LPN licensure; LTC experience is preferred but not required. Eligible candidates will join a dedicated team focused on safety, quality of life, and compassionate care in a connected community.

Qualifications

• LPN licensed to practice in Iowa.
• LTC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments with accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care and communicate with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
• Overnight and daytime full-time shifts available.
