WesleyLife is seeking a CNA/CMA to join our Edgewater community in West Des Moines, IA. Open 2nd shift (2:00p-10:30p) with competitive pay and a rich benefits package as part of a resort-like aging experience. You will assist residents with daily living, monitor health, and support a caring, engaged environment.

Qualifications include being 18+, having an Iowa CNA license (CMA preferred but not required), and strong communication and teamwork. LTC experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in Iowa; CMA preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, medications).
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Conduct routine health monitoring (vital signs, medications).
• Facilitate participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain clean, safe environment per infection control protocols.

• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications.
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.

• 2nd shift (2:00p-10:30p) FT

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (This is a requirement)
• An active CNA license in the state of Iowa, CMA preferred but not required
• Prior experience in LTC preferred but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
