Job summary
WesleyLife’s Summit of Bettendorf, IA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support residents’ health, happiness, and daily living. You’ll perform assessments, administer medications, wound care, IV therapy, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.
This role offers 12-hour shift options, opportunities to mentor CNAs, and a strong emphasis on compassionate, patient‑centered care within a supportive community.
Qualifications
- Must possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Iowa RN license required.
- Commitment to resident safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with documentation and monitoring.
- Provide direct nursing care including wound care and IV therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians and families to coordinate care.
- Supervise CNAs and support staff with guidance and training.
- Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.

As an RN, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at The Summit in Bettendorf.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
- Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
- Supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
- Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting overall well-being and understanding of care plans.
- 1st shift FT 12 hours
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- State of Iowa RN License
