Job summary

WesleyLife Edgewater in the Des Moines area is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide direct nursing care across independent, assisted living, memory care, and skilled rehab services. You will perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and comprehensive resident assessments.

Shifts include Overnight FT (6:00p–6:00a) and Day FT (6:00a–6:00p). Competitive pay plus a comprehensive benefits package is offered, with emphasis on safety, documentation, teamwork, and family

Qualifications

• Iowa LPN license required.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, You Will

• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management. Comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and developing individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.

Open Shifts Available

• Overnight (6:00p-6:00a) FT
• Day (6:00a-6:00p) FT

Qualifications

• State of Iowa LPN license
• Previous LTC experience is preferred but not required
