Job summary

West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Deltona, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the nursing team and develop personalized care plans for residents. This full-time, all-shifts role features a competitive pay rate and collaborative, high-quality care environment.

You will mentor staff, coordinate care with physicians and therapists, and respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Florida.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or a related setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee nursing staff, ensuring residents receive care according to their individual care plans and state regulations.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments based on staff skills and resident needs.
• Mentor and support nursing staff, including onboarding new hires and providing ongoing education.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and medical situations with appropriate interventions.
• Perform other duties as required to support resident care and facility operations.
