The RN will supervise staff, coordinate assignments, mentor team members, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to deliver comprehensive resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, valid Florida RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure residents receive exceptional care in accordance with individualized care plans and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments based on resident acuity and staff qualifications.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff, including onboarding and ongoing education.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and changes in resident condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety and clinical care.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Facility: Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation

Location: Melbourne, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour (based on experience) plus shift differentials
