Job summary

Claremore Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Claremore, OK seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and support families and physicians within a compassionate clinical culture.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• 1+ year of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment following approved nursing techniques. Ensure residents' chart is current.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions; notify parties of changes.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess residents' condition.
• Keep residents' families and physicians informed of changes in behavior, medications, or health conditions.
• Modify residents' care plans, ADLs, and care directives as conditions change.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment following approved nursing techniques. Ensure residents' chart is current.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions. Notify appropriate parties of residents' changes in condition and response to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess residents' condition.
• Keep residents' families and physicians informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or health conditions.
• Modify residents' care plans, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with residents' changes in condition.

Required Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• One (1) or more years of experience in a skilled nursing or Long-term Care environment is preferred.
