Job summary

Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation Center in Brandon, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate clinical leadership team. The position offers shifts across all schedules with pay ranging from $35 to $40 per hour based on experience.

The RN will support the DON and ADON, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care in a collaborative environment. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nursing license in Florida.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with daily nursing operations.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high standards of resident care.
• Address and escalate staff concerns or grievances in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Monitor staffing levels and help optimize scheduling to reduce overtime and agency usage.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support disciplinary processes when needed.
• Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, collaborative unit environment.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, budget planning, and internal committees.
• Oversee MDS coordination and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary care teams on discharge planning.
• Ensure residents receive compassionate, individualized, and high-quality care.
