Job summary

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home care. You will administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and educate families to promote recovery.

The role supports care plans with a collaborative healthcare team and ensures accurate documentation while delivering high-quality nursing in patients' homes in the Bloomingdale area.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois is required or strongly preferred.
• CPR certification is current and valid.
• Experience in home health care or related fields is preferred.
• Acute care experience (ER/ICU) is a plus.
• Proficiency in IV access and phlebotomy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home skilled nursing visits and staffing support in schools and facilities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and document health status changes.
• Educate patients and families on managing medical conditions and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records per regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to patient and family requests and concerns.

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bloomingdale, IL. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote health and recovery.

Responsibilities

• In-home skilled nursing visits and non- hospital facility staffing opportunities in schools and skilled facilities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes in health status.
• Provide patient and family education on managing medical conditions and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to patient and family requests and concerns.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, especially in home health care or related fields.
• Recent Acute Care experience with ER, ICU, or ECU preferred
• IV Access andPhlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within the Bloomingdale area.
