Job summary

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in Bloomingdale, IL. You will assist with daily tasks, mobility, and personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of documented caregiver/home care experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current TB Test and Work Physical.
• Driver's License & reliable transportation with auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance per the client’s plan.
• Assist with daily tasks and mobility; document changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist client with mobility as defined by the care plan and report changes to the director.

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care services to clients in Bloomingdale, IL. As a caregiver, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support by assisting with daily tasks, mobility, and personal care respectfully and professionally. This position offers a competitive wage of $19.00 per hour, weekly pay,and flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s or patient’s needs


• Assisting with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping


• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Current TB Test and Work Physical


• Driver's License & reliable transportation with auto insurance


• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively


• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
