Job summary

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care services to clients in Bloomingdale, IL. The position offers a competitive wage of $19.00 per hour with weekly pay and flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.

As a caregiver, you will assist with daily tasks, mobility, and personal care, delivering respectful and professional support while documenting client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of documented caregiver/home care experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide various personal care services as necessary per client needs.
• Assist with daily tasks including feeding, meal prep, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and errands.
• Assist with mobility as defined by the plan of care and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing.

• Various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s or patient’s needs
• Assisting with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current TB Test and Work Physical
• Driver's License & reliable transportation with auto insurance
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
