Job summary

Copper Springs Behavioral Health in Avondale, AZ is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts (7pm-7am). The role focuses on delivering both general and psychiatric nursing care within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include following medical orders, contributing to treatment planning, and advocating for patients while coordinating with the care team. CPR and CPI training are required within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current unencumbered RN license to practice.
• CPR certification and CPI within 30 days prior to patient contact.
• Experience in psychiatric health care; chemical dependency/dual diagnosis/geriatric experience preferred.
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivation, and treatment planning; ability to coordinate with external review bodies.

• Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
• CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
