Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking experienced registered nurses to join Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Both part-time and full-time roles include a $30,000 sign-on bonus through 9/30/2026 and relocation incentives.

As an RN, you will provide evidence-based care across the care continuum, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and mentor bedside staff while upholding high ethical standards in a leading pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• BLS certification required; additional life support per unit may be needed.

The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. The nurse adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
