Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship seeks a registered nurse to apply the nursing process to patient care in a high-acuity environment.

You will maintain accountability for care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy Service Standards. The role requires RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN), and certifications such as

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Maintain an active RN license in the hiring state and meet state board requirements.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, PEARS, C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

Position Details

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Experience

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
