Job summary

Heritage Valley Beaver is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time position in Cardiology, Interventional Radiology (IR) and General Radiology. The role requires flexibility for rotating shifts and on-call duties after hours, weekends, and holidays. Pennsylvania nursing licensure and BCLS/ACLS are required.

Two years of Cardiology/IR experience are preferred, with CCU/ED considered if IR experience is lacking. Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure; other state licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.
• RN will be trained to rotate in Cardiology, Interventional Radiology (IR) and General Radiology.
• Based on operational needs, on-call and late shifts may be required.

Description

Department: Cardiology, Interventional Radiology (IR), General Radiology, Work Hours: FT position Monday-Friday 8hrs/day and on call for after hours, weekends and holiday (starting Nov). RN will be trained to rotate in all positions. Needs to be very flexible with scheduling to meet patient scheduling and departmental needs.

Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required.

Based on operational needs, on-call and late shifts may be required

Two years current Cardiology/ Interventional Radiology Experience. In the absence of applicants with two years current Cardiology/ IR experience, will accept two years Critical Care or current ED experience. In the absence Critical Care and ED experience we will accept Cardiopulmonary experience of 5 years or more.

Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Certification in the posted specialty area.
