Job summary

Heritage Valley Beaver in Beaver, PA is seeking a FT registered nurse to join Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and General Radiology units. The role requires 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, with on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays starting November.

Provides professional nursing care per Nurse Practice Act and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs. Requires PA RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and two years in Cardiology/IR or related acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure; other state licensure as required.

Description

Department: Cardiology, Interventional Radiology (IR), General Radiology, Work Hours: FT position Monday-Friday 8hrs/day and on call for after hours, weekends and holiday (starting Nov). RN will be trained to rotate in all positions. Needs to be very flexible with scheduling to meet patient scheduling and departmental needs.

Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required.

Basic Cardiac Life Support

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Based on operational needs, on-call and late shifts may be required

Two years current Cardiology/ Interventional Radiology Experience. In the absence of applicants with two years current Cardiology/ IR experience, will accept two years Critical Care or current ED experience. In the absence Critical Care and ED experience we will accept Cardiopulmonary experience of 5 years or more.

Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Certification in the posted specialty area.
