Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide on-site care in a correctional health setting. Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications, and coordinating care with practitioners, while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance.

The role requires active RN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Qualificações

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided, in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of RN scope of practice and applicable regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Contact practitioners to obtain orders and administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
• Provide emergency first aid when needed.
• Check and record vital signs and other diagnostic measures on-site as appropriate.
• Triage intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick calls.
• Collect and record data for CQI and outcome studies.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA practices; report changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate multiple medical services for diagnosis and treatment as directed.
• May cover shifts at multiple correctional facilities and train new hires.
