Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide on-site nursing care within a correctional facility. You will assess, plan, and deliver patient care, administer medications and treatments, and coordinate with practitioners to obtain orders.

You will monitor vital signs, possibly perform on-site tests, ensure accurate documentation, uphold infection control, and educate patients on facility policies and discharge planning while maintaining HIPAA and privacy standards.

Qualificações

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medication, treatments and other tasks as ordered by the practitioner.
• Provide emergency first aid as needed and record vital signs and other measurements.
• Triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control precautions.
• Record care information concisely and accurately in appropriate forms.
• Collaborate with medical services for diagnosis and treatment as directed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices.
