Care New England is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on the Delmonico 3C unit at Butler Hospital. The role requires adherence to RI Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies, with duties spanning assessment, planning, and ongoing care coordination.
Responsibilities include supervising a shift as Charge Nurse, participating in treatment planning, and coordinating emergencies to ensure patient safety. Current RI nursing license is required; BSN is preferred.
Provides direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.
Schedule: 20/40 Full Time Evenings – Every Other Weekend
This unit will focus on providing specialized treatment for our patients with unique and complex needs. In addition to patients with psychotic and mood disorders, patients treated on this unit will include those with severe behavioral disturbances and patients who are intellectually and developmentally disabled.
