Common Diagnosis/Treatment: sepsis, stroke, heart failure, PNA, respiratory failure, substance withdrawal, epilepsy, trauma, post-op, MI, CAD, non-titratable cardiac drips, IV medications. Routine nursing interventions include vital signs every 4 hours, with potential for more frequent monitoring.

Scrub Color: Navy blue

Areas of Float Support: intermediate and med/surg

Special Procedures: chest tube insertion, PICC, central line insertion at bedside, dialysis patients, EMU monitoring.
