Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN 3-11p shift to provide patient care using the nursing process under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s). This role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care for underserved populations.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning care, administering medications, conducting diagnostic tests, documenting encounters, and supporting a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum one year of clinic experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• CPR certification required.

• Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with minor procedures as needed.
• Count controlled substances and maintain compliance with policies and protocols.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP format and attend required meetings/training.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisors as needed.

How you make a difference

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary.
• Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Document nursing encounters using the SOAP format of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel or other staff as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience

• Prefer a minimum of one year clinic experience.

Licenses/Certifications

• Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
• Obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Schedule

• 3-11 p.m. shift only, with weekend availability required.
