North Point Senior Homecare in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our in-home care team. You will assess, plan, and deliver personalized nursing care to seniors in their homes, supporting independence and safety with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating with physicians, educating families, and ensuring compliance with home health standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia required.
• Experience in home health or geriatric care preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

• Monitor and document patient health status, progress, and changes in condition
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members
• Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and care techniques
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing interventions as needed
• Ensure compliance with home health regulations, care standards, and documentation requirements

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
• Previous home health, geriatric, or senior care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visits
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible PRN schedule
• CPR/BLS certification required
