Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Bardstown, KY is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one home care for pediatric and/or adult patients. Full-time and part-time positions are available for day, evening, and night shifts, with pay based on schedule, experience, and patient needs.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, and monitoring patient signs and changes.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in the state in which the RN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Pay depends on the schedule, experience, and the skills required for each patient.
