Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking an Ambulatory RN to join the Primary Care team in Zionsville. You will deliver patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic supporting 11 physicians, including triage, education, and care coordination to improve long-term outcomes.

This full-time role offers a predictable weekday schedule (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with no weekends, holidays, or travel requirements, helping you grow within Indiana's leading healthcare system and build meaningful patient

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN). BSN preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• RN must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions may be made with more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to review by the CNO.
• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and manage message pool.
• Coordinate care and referrals; conduct nurse visits.
• Provide patient education and chronic disease management.
• Support outpatient clinic operations for 11 physicians.
• Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with no weekends, holidays, or travel.

Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
