Job summary

IU Health is seeking an RN with at least one year of experience for a 24-hour weekly schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Some travel to other IU Health Facilities may be required as part of this pipeline requisition.

Qualified candidates must have ASN with BSN preferred, and an active Indiana RN license or NLC. BLS certification is required, and graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is expected.

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
