Providence Summit Surgery Center in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for PreOp and PostOp care, to join a team delivering high-quality ambulatory surgical services. This PRN role supports physician orders, patient safety, and seamless care through anesthesia recovery.

The RN will work Monday–Friday with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Compensation ranges from $45.00 to $70.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state of CA.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS accredited by AHA.
• 2+ years experience in PACU or ICU.
• CPR certified. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of employment if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders and provide continuity and quality of nursing care while continually evaluating patient condition.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times; assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and conscious sedation as needed.
• Provide total comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate for discharge preparation.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse PreOp Post is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate. Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Hourly Wage Range: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour, based on experience
